Credentials

A native of Utica, New York, Dr. Leventhal attended college there, and was awarded his DDS Degree from SUNY at Buffalo in 1970.

Dr. Leventhal established The Dental Center in 1978 in partnership with his wife Meredith, who is the practice administrator. The practice has grown to a three office group practice with six general dentists and an orthodontist, employing close to fifty people.

Years and years of orthodontic practice and orthodontist specialty services provided through Dr. Leventhal's multiple practice locations formed the basis for our Non Extraction Orthodontics Philosophy.

Failure free orthdontic procedures can be assured without extracting permanent teeth, except perhaps for routine wisdom teeth removal. Dr. Leventhal and his staff firmly believe that better and faster results can be achieved when ALL permanent teeth (except third (3rd) molars are preserved.
